Readloops frequently asked questions
What is Readloops?
Readloops is a reading log app built for families. Parents, grandparents and caregivers use it to track the books a child reads at home — quickly, together, and without paper logs or spreadsheets.
Is Readloops free?
Yes. The free plan includes 1 child profile and unlimited book logging. Readloops Pro is $2.99/month or $29/year and unlocks unlimited child profiles, unlimited rewards, CSV/PDF exports, and caregiver invitations.
How do I log a book?
Three ways: search by title or author, scan the ISBN barcode, or snap a photo of the cover. Readloops fills in title, author, and cover art automatically using Google Books and on-device AI for cover recognition.
Can grandparents and other caregivers log reads?
Yes — that's a core part of Readloops. With Pro, you invite caregivers by email. They can log reads from their own account and everyone shares the same reading history for the child.
Does Readloops work for homeschool families?
Yes. Many homeschool families use Readloops to keep a real reading record, with CSV and PDF exports for portfolios and reporting.
Can I export my reading log?
Yes. Pro members can export to CSV (for spreadsheets) or PDF (for school reading logs and summer reading programs).
Is my child's data private?
Yes. Readloops never sells data and never shows ads. Children's profile info is visible only to the parent and the caregivers they explicitly invite. See the privacy policy for details.
Does Readloops work on mobile?
Yes — Readloops is mobile-first and works as a web app on phone, tablet, or desktop. No app-store install required.
