Children's Privacy

Readloops is designed for parents to track their children's reading. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. All child profile information is provided and managed by parent accounts. Parents have full control over their children's data and can delete it at any time.

In line with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), accounts may only be created by a parent or legal guardian aged 13 or older. We collect the minimum information necessary about a child (typically a first name and optional birth date) so a parent can log reading sessions. Children do not sign in, do not receive marketing communications, and their information is never sold, rented, or used for advertising. A parent may review, export, or delete their child's data at any time from the app, or by contacting us.

Service Providers (Sub-processors)

We rely on a small set of trusted providers to operate Readloops. Each is contractually bound to protect your data and only process it on our instructions:

Lovable Cloud — hosting, database, authentication, and file storage.
Stripe — subscription payment processing. Card details are entered directly with Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
Resend — delivery of transactional emails such as caregiver invitations and account notifications.
Google OAuth — optional sign-in with a Google account. We receive only your name, email, and avatar.
Google Analytics — aggregated, anonymized usage analytics to help us improve the product.
Google Books API — public book metadata (title, author, cover) used to enrich your library. No personal data is sent.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
